Where did it all start ?
The author bug bit me in high school. I wanted to write, to invoke that immense joy of reading a good book. I was amazed how words written on a page could send my imagination into the past, the future or into the world of Hobbits.

What am I working on?
I'm struggling through the next novel. Working title "Bodies in the Desert."
The death count continues on the U.S. Border Patrol's turf. Who are these victims? Who the heck is killing them?
fffff
The Invincible Crew was originally a bedtime story?
One night years ago I was put on the spot by my sister-in-law to tell her kids a bedtime story.
Well, with no children of my own I had no idea what to tell them. I’d never watched any of those famous Disney movies or anything!
So, there I was, without a net, making up a tale. I began without a clue of what to name my character, so I said he had no name
…and now I’m sharing that story with all kids.
******************************************************************
I am from Springfield, Missouri. I served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. Later, I attended the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Glynco, Georgia and was stationed in beautiful San Diego, California. After nearly 25 years, I retired in December of 2016.
During my career, I served a stint as a public information officer in charge of media operations. I got to supervise the San Diego segment of the hit series “Border Wars” by the National Geographic Channel. While in that position, I gave a ton of border tours to many officials as well as famous celebrities. In addition, I was on the patrol's nation-wide recruiting team and he chaired numerous oral hiring boards. I personally implemented a few highly regarded public relations programs. I was honored with two Commissioner’s Awards plus, the Attorney General’s Award for outstanding service.
Retirement allowed the time to write. The journey started with, “The boy with no name,” a children’s book based on a bedtime story I made up for young relatives during a visit. It worked! So, the story continued in “THE RED ORB,” and then again in book three, "Princess Maldiva." These three books are "The Invincible Crew Series." They are enjoyable at any age.
For adults, there's a psycho/murder thriller titled, "A Killer's Diary." All these books can be found on Amazon.
